Walk In Studio

There is a perception that traditional studio photography and contemporary family pictures is a high cost undertaking. Indeed, this is the case where making pictures is the main service that is provided by a studio.

At Whitby's we have brought to the town centre a value proposition that takes into account that we offer a full range of imaging services alongside a mainstream photographic business.

Our value studio package offers customers a choice from both classic photography as well as more contemporary images. We are also very happy to discuss more individual requirements that you may have. 

Personalised gifts

Throughout the year we produce personalised cards, invitations, thank you cards and inevitably at Christmas, greetings cards from customer supplied images. In many cases our individual cards cost less than going to a card shop or on-line supplier.

Although the main market for calendars is Christmas. We can make calendars that fit the academic year an other special period.

Tee shirts for Stag and Hen parties, sponsored events etc.

If you have been a guest at a party or family event, why not make a Photobook from the  pictures you have taken?

We have low cost systems to make handbag size photobooks ideal to give to doting grandparents.

Facebook Pictures

You know how it is. Thousands of images stored on Facebook but no photographs to show family and friends. Just pop into Whitby's, download the images that you want to print, and leave the rest to us.

We are fully equipped to take your photographs to meet all the technical requirements. No booking necessary.

No appointment is necessary and pictures are usually ready within 15 minutes.

Photobooks

It is true to say that the UK public has not taken to creating Photobooks as readily as some other parts of the world. The process can be time consuming if you use software on your home computer. If you come into a photographic store some customers find creating Photobooks surrounded by other customers is not very relaxing.

The Whitby's difference:

  • Download our page templates and print off at home for easy of arrangement.
  • Select the combination of images and pages to form your book.
  • Email us with the images, page sequence & template number and the image numbers for each page.
  • Select the cover colour.
  • Wait for the postman to deliver the finished book to you.

Photo Restoration

Whatever your needs we are expert at all aspects of restoration. All our work is undertaken in store so you have no need to fear that a precious item might go missing in the post. If appropriate, we will invite into our studio to look at possible options. Our aim is to exceed your expectation of what is possible.

Banner Stands

Provide us with a sketch of your requirements and any high resolution images that you wish to include, and we will make your banner stand in our store. If you wish us to take your images for the stand just ask.

Passport and ID Photographs 

Taken in our walk in studio we are able to supply a set of top quality pictures, sized to the correct specification and ready for the application. Specialist in US and Canadian passport authority requirements.

Baby pictures are a speciality and the image is previewed for for approval before printing.

No appointment is necessary and pictures are usually ready within 15 minutes.
